The Project is aimed at uplifting the Basic Health Centers (“BHU”) and installing the latest and state of the art system at BHU’s. Dr. Shaya quoted Leo Buscaglia, It’s not enough to have lived. We should be determined to live for something.  May I suggest that it be creating joy for others, sharing what we have for the betterment of person kind,  bringing hope to the lost and love to the lonely.”

District Coordinator Officer (“DCO”), Ms. Kiran Khursheed (see interview above)  along with Mr Hamad Sheikh (Head SNG) along with other dignitaries from Directorate General Health Punjab inaugurated ‘Tele-medicine’ at Sheikhupura on 4th January, 2016. the project is aimed to reduce maternal and child mortality rates, increase the rate of live births and antenatal follow-ups and boost the general patient flow at Basic Health Centers (“BHU”). 6 Basic Health Centers have been provided with equipment which allows patients to access specialist care without the hassle of travelling to Tehsil Headquarter Hospital (“THQ”) or District Head quarter (“DHQ”) hospitals or bearing the expense of private health care.
